Today's blog is inspired by a 7th grader.. the topic is "favorite foods." -given by Tyler Kocian. My favorite food of all time.. is a #9 from Taco Bell. A crunchwrap supreme with no tomatoes, a soft-shell taco and a mountain dew.. yum! Cruchwraps are the perfect mix of crunchy and soft. They have a soft taco on the outside with a hard circular taco shell in the middle. On the top is a the meat and nacho cheese, and on the bottom is the lettuce and sour cream. I guess it could be the other way around if you flip it, but then it's not the same. I eat them with the folded side up so you can see if anything might possibly fall out.
Another one of my favorite foods is bacon! Bacon is best on Subway sandwiches, cheeseburgers, and goes well with other breakfast foods, too. Bacon and Mexican food.. gotta love it! :)

<^>two weeks of blogging<^>
..itching to get out?! is this a hint as to why mrs b's couch is missing?! ha.. as for the blog of the day, i am to reflect on my past two weeks of blogging. It's been pretty good. At first I thought it'd be hard to write something long enough to be decent, but it's not all that bad. If it weren't for this class though, I would probably never blog or even think about blogging.. but since I have to I suppose it's not too horribly bad. On another note I am really disappointed that the couch is missing in Mrs. B's room! I"m also kind of scared because we can't sit on the floor or the bean bags.. what the heck is up with this place?! haha.. that's all i got for now :)

Kaelee's pick
Kaelee chose my blog topic today. It is "Why do Jr. High kids have no logic, and how can they not control their body motions?" Today at lunch, an 8th grader was shaking their milk and squeezed the bottle accidentally.. resulting in chocolate milk flying everywhere! It was quite the mess. Some of the things these kids do is just beyond me. It seems like they should have some self-control or can logically think of things. I really have no idea why they have no logic. It probably has to do with being immature and not having fully developed brains yet; that's my best guess. They seem to do things for attention and don't think things through completely until they end up making complete fools of themselves. I'm glad I grew up and am not like them anymore!

School is getting kind of boring. All my classes except speech are very monotonous. We do the exact same things every day, and it's getting kind of old. I need some more variety in my day otherwise the school year is going to go really really slowly! I'm really looking forward to college because you only have a certain class a couple days a week, and I'm determined to organize my schedule so my morning classes aren't quite so early. ;) As of today, I'm really wanting the end of the school year. Every other day is usually o.k., but today just drained the life out of me. Ha.. there's the blog of the day! :)

how to be a champion
To become a champion public speaker I need to be more confident and know that I am capable of doing anything I set my mind to. I also need to work on making my speeches valuable to the audience so I'm not wasting their time. I need to help others whenever I can because at one time I relied on other people to help me as well. You never know just how much it means to someone if you help them out or compliment them. I need to appreciate what I have and "live [my] life like a champion." My goal for this week would be to study my government notecards, my goal for this month would be to continue to progress with my dancing and try as hard as I can at every practice, my long-term goal would be to save enough money so I can attend Clarkson College next fall. In order to do these things, I need to push myself and do the things necessary to succeed. I need to make time to get everything done but still keep time for friends. Without friends, I'd get too stressed out and life wouldn't be any fun. I need to set aside time for work and time for play but still realize that accomplishing my goals will make me happier in the long run. My dream is to make a difference in at least one persons life. Whether it be that I help them to recover from something or just being there as a friend for them in a time of need. I want to be the person to help them through a tough time.

|-favorite infomercial-|
My favorite infomercial would probably have to be for the Snuggie. It's crazy! The people make it seem like it's such a hassle to wrap up in a blanket, or get your hands out of a blanket in time to answer a phone, when in all reality its not that big of a deal. Just because the blanket has sleeves doesn't really make it worth buying. Snuggies are just pretty much dumb looking and blankets would work just as well. The actors are also really cheesy and fake, as in all infomercials though. So yea, the Snuggie infomercial is probably my favorite one so far. It's very memorable too because nothing like it has been made before, or not that i know of anyways.

..my favorites..
I have lots of things I like to do, but there are probably 10 that are my favorite.
1. softball: I love hanging out with my friends, and it's the only "sport" I play.
2. dance: I've been dancing since I was 5 and have always liked it.
3. thunderstorms!: I love thunderstorms because I love the lightening and thunder, and during them I'm always outside sitting in the rain. :)
4.my friends: We always find something to laugh about.
5.Taco bell: My favorite place to eat and always has been. #6's or #9's will always brighten my day
6.chinese food: Who doesn't like Chinese food?!
7. ice skating: I go about 5 times a year with my friends in Sioux City. It's always an adventure.
8. horror movies/haunted houses: Everyone needs a good scare every now and then
9.walking: I go on walks a lot with my friends and it's just nice to walk and not really have a purpose and no time limits
10.Chicago: I love it! I had a blast when we went there for band, and I also went there for a weeding. It's my favorite place I've been to. --I'm marrying a blue man from the blue man group and moving there.. just wait, it'll happen :)

ooh the blog of the day.. yay! The kids in speech class today were hilarious! What should you do at the end of a date?? --how about, give her a kiss! (get some action) Wow! ..kids these days!
Sounds like something a few of the kids in my grade would have said. Anyways, the real story of the day.. I am learning a lot this year from the foreign exchange students. Linse is in my government class and has lots of input about her country. They have a constitutional monarchy so they have a King, but he's basically just for show I guess. He has some power, but not all that much. We learned that her national anthem is called "brabanconne." They don't have to learn the words to it though because it is really long. I think she sometimes gets annoyed of people who talk about her country like they actually know it, because she always has to correct them and tell them what it's really like. That's about all I got for today! :)

who i want to be..
Right now I'm a confident, hard working senior. I use my abilities towards helping others. I try to brighten everyone's day if even it's the slightest bit. Who I am now is exactly who I want to be at this time. I believe I am accomplishing everything I need to and want to. In the future, I hope to be a hard worker and hope to brighten people's day as well. I hope to be a responsible parent and loving wife. I want to spread my values on to my children and raise good people for the future. I hope to be adventurous and try everything once no matter how dumb it is. I want to learn from my mistakes and be a good role model to my family and friends.

Senior Year!
Being a senior is great because I can finally use what I learned in high school towards making college choices. I also get to park in the senior parking lot! yay!! I also think it's great because all of the other kids look up to me and ask me questions about how things work, and it's always really funny to see a 7th grader in the middle of a hallway spinning in circles because they're lost. :)

I'm taking speech class so I can communicate better with my peers. I usually get really nervous and can't get my ideas across as thoroughly as I would like. I would like to learn to give a speech effectively and get my points across without my speech getting dull and boring or losing the interest of the audience.
